Counselling

In life we attend to physical injuries that force us to slow down, but mental health can get neglected. Whether it is trauma from a sports injury, or other presenting issues such as depression or addiction, counselling can offer support.

Everyone is unique, and counselling can be for everyone.  The sessions take place in the calm, newly renovated space with qualified counsellor Sophie.

Sophie practises an Integrative Approach. She offers a broad range of counselling styles based on what you feel is right for you. This may change throughout the sessions as you go deeper in your self-exploration.

Any questions can be answered with a free telephone consultation. Each 50 minute session will be tailored to create a safe space to address your presenting issues, for personal growth and well-being. The amount of sessions required will be up to you.

You might know what style of counselling you want, or are not yet sure. Sophie will work with you to explore what approach best suits you.

A Person Centred Approach is the foundation of each session. This involves creating a safe and non-judgemental space where a foundation of trust is established. Other approaches include;  CBT, Nature therapy, Art therapy, Yoga Therapy, Gestalt, Psychodynamic and Psychosynthesis.

All ages are welcome. Sophie is accredited to work with children and young people.
